Founded in 1883

With $10,000 in Prize money up for grabs for our 2024 racing season on Kangaroo Island, the winner will be the trainer who at the end of day-3 (Day 1: Jan 20th, Day 2: Feb 15th, Day 3: Feb 17th) has the most amount of points. With previous winners attending all 3 race meets, we highly encourage all trainers to attend both our January  and February race meets in 2024 to receive your 5 bonus points. In the event of a draw, the trainer with the most number of winners will be declared the winner of the 1st prize. In the event of a draw for 2nd and 3rd, the trainer with the maximum number of place getters will be declared the winner.

The points will accumulate over the 3-days of racing as follows - 

• 4 Points for each winner

• 2 Points for 2nd placegetters

• 1 Points for 3rd placegetters

*Plus a 5 point bonus will be awarded for any trainer starting horses on every day of the 3-days of Kangaroo Island racing.
