Arthur Daw Memorial Trainer Challenge
With $10,000 in Prize money up for grabs for our 2023 racing season on Kangaroo Island, the winner will be the trainer who at the end of day-3 (Day 1: Jan 19th, Day 2: Feb 16th, Day 3: Feb 18th) has the most amount of points. With previous winners attending all 3 race meets, we highly encourage all trainers to attend both our January and February race meets in 2023 to receive your 5 bonus points. In the event of a draw, the trainer with the most number of winners will be declared the winner of the 1st prize. In the event of a draw for 2nd and 3rd, the trainer with the maximum number of place getters will be declared the winner
The points will accumulate over the 3-days of racing as follows -

*Plus a 5 point bonus will be awarded for any trainer starting horses on every day of the 3-days of Kangaroo Island racing.

Austin Stanborough Memorial Jockey Challenge
The winner will be the jockey with the most amount of points at the end of day 3 (Day 1: Jan 21th, Day 2: Feb 16th, Day 3: Feb 18th) . In the event of a draw the jockey with the maximum number of winners will be declared the winner
The points will accumulate over the 3 days of racing as follows -

FREE SEALINK FERRY TRANSPORT FOR JOCKEYS
Free walk on ferry transport from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw and free shuttle bus to track and return to Cape Jervis on each day of racing.
